KIA PV5 VAN
Platform Beyond Vehicle
The new Kia PV5 marks a major step forward for New Zealand businesses, introducing Kia’s Platform Beyond Vehicle vision in a practical, fully electric van built around real-world commercial needs. More than just a van, the PV5 is designed as a flexible business tool, combining efficient electric performance, smart packaging, and future-focused versatility
For NZ operators, the PV5 Cargo offers a compelling mix of space and usability, with up to 4,420 litres of cargo capacity, a low 419mm step-in height, and up to 690kg payload in the Cargo Long Standard Roof configuration. Its electric drivetrain delivers up to 416km WLTP range, with DC fast charging from 10–80% in around 30 minutes, helping keep downtime under control.
Inside, the PV5 feels more like a modern mobile workspace than a traditional work van. A 7.5-inch digital cluster, 12.9-inch infotainment display, Kia Connect functionality, smart storage, USB-C charging, and available vehicle-to-load capability make it ready for trades, couriers, fleet users, and passenger transport alike.

Built on a dedicated modular platform, the PV5 has been engineered with durability, cost-efficient repairs, and lower total ownership costs in mind. Backed by Kia New Zealand’s 7-year / 150,000km warranty, it gives business owners confidence as they transition into electric mobility.
The PV5 is not simply Kia entering the van market — it is Kia rethinking what a business vehicle can be. It also gives Kiwi businesses a cleaner, smarter way to move people, products, and services without compromising productivity or practicality.
