At the heart of the platform is the belief that connection, collaboration and community are keys to success. Since inception; all ConnectHer events have embodied these principles, which has seen the ConnectHer community grow at an exciting pace!
The February ConnectHer After 5 event was at capacity within a week of opening registrations and we have so much more where that came from.
In addition to the ConnectHer After 5 events in alternate months, we’re bringing other intentional and exciting events in 2026. We are developing an ‘Introduction to AI’ Workshop with Adjacent Communications – something we’ve wanted to create for some time. We’re getting it right as we’ve surveyed the ConnectHer community for feedback to ensure we are delivering exactly what is needed.
2006 will also bring ‘The ElevateHer Pitch’ Email Update for ConnectHer – a specific communication that holds space to really champion women in our wider business community and provide an interesting and informative source of information and inspiration for the ConnectHer brand.
What started as a modest initiative to provide networking and growth opportunities has flourished into a platform that really does provide solid support, has attracted ongoing partnerships, and sponsorships – we are proud to hear about business deals and success stories that have been a direct result of engagement with this platform.
As we expand, it’s not just about the numbers. Here are three fundamentals that ConnectHer members consistently highlight as being key to their professional journeys;
1. Networking and Collaboration
ConnectHer serves to offer space where women from diverse industries and backgrounds come together to share ideas, create partnerships and support one another. Our regular ConnectHer After 5 events, plus our ConnectHer Conference often lead to true collaboration, and long-lasting friendships.
2. Professional Growth Opportunities
We listen to what people want and where they want to grow and provide direct support through specifically tailored workshops. We’ve covered personal branding, finding your voice and being heard, LinkedIn training, fashion and style workshops – not to mention a very successful ConnectHer Conference day which was jam packed with growth opportunities.
3. Personal Growth
There’s the notion that there’s really no such thing as ‘work/life balance’ – just work/life integration. So it’s really important to be excited by what you do! We aim to provide support in this, with the intention of helping members to live On Purpose, With Purpose.
